2. Prime Benefits

2.1. Prime Delivery Benefits and Eligible Purchases

Amazon Prime members can benefit from a range of delivery benefits, including fast shipping at no additional cost or at a discounted price.

Products eligible for Prime will be designated as such on the product pages. They are limited to certain products sold by Amazon (or third-party sellers participating in Prime) on the Amazon Website.

Prime delivery benefits depend on stock availability, order deadlines, and the delivery address. Products with special delivery characteristics, such as heavy/bulky, oversized or containing hazardous materials, may be excluded. Some special product, order and/or handling fees, and/or taxes may still apply to eligible purchases.

If only some items in your order are eligible for Prime, you will pay applicable delivery charges for the ineligible items. Changing or combining orders, or changing your shipping address, speed, or preferences might affect Prime eligibility.

5. Agreement Changes

We may change these Terms or the Prime Service, or any part of it, at any time: for legal or regulatory reasons; for security reasons; to enhance existing features or add additional features to the Prime Service; to reflect advancements in technology; to make reasonable technical adjustments to the Prime Service; and to ensure the ongoing operability of the Prime Service.

If we make changes, we will inform you in due form and time about it and remind you of your rights. You will be able not to accept these changes and you will keep the possibility to cancel your Amazon Prime membership at any time.

Regardless of any changes to these Terms or the Prime Service, any increase in the applicable membership fee will not apply before the end of your current membership period.

If any change is found invalid or for any reason unenforceable, that change is severable and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining changes or conditions

Receive Donations

How does my charity receive the donations?

Each quarter, Amazon makes donations to eligible charitable organisations by electronic funds transfer. Donations will be transferred within 28 days after the end of the following calendar quarter. To account for product returns, we may reduce the amount of donations in a given calendar quarter and add it to the subsequent quarter, subject to any reduction due to returns from prior quarters. What happens if we do not enrol our charitable organisation and provide a bank account for an electronic transfer?

If you do not enrol your charitable organisation, including providing accurate bank account information for an electronic transfer, AmazonSmile customers cannot select your charitable organisation to receive donations from Amazon. You must enrol in order to appear as an option for customers to select your charitable organisation.

How much of the customers’ purchase price does Amazon donate?

Amazon will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) of eligible purchases to the charitable organisations that customers select. The purchase price for each item is the purchase price, excluding shipping, handling, gift-wrapping fees, VAT, and service charges, and less any rebates, returns, and bad debt. Certain items are not eligible and will not result in donations.

What purchases are eligible for donations?

Millions of products on AmazonSmile are eligible for donations. You will see eligible products marked “Eligible for AmazonSmile donation” on their product detail pages. Recurring Subscribe-and-Save purchases and subscription renewals are not currently eligible. For more information, see Qualifying Purchases in the AmazonSmile Participation Agreement.

In order to receive a donation disbursement, what is the minimum amount my organisation needs to have accrued from customer purchases?

The minimum amount a charitable organisation must accrue to receive a quarterly donation is £5.00. If the total donation amount due to your organisation, based on the purchases by all customers who selected your charitable organisation, is less than £5.00 as of the end of a given calendar quarter, AmazonSmile will hold the donation amounts and add them to donation amounts allocated to your organisation in subsequent calendar quarters. However, if you have an accrued donation that remains below £5.00 for four consecutive quarters, Amazon will disburse accrued donation amounts to you in the donation cycle following the fourth quarter, even if the donation amount is less than £5.00. Can I view the amount of donations my charitable organisation has received?

Если вы опытный интернет-покупатель, то без сомнения уже зарегистрированы в каком-либо из отделений Amazon. Магазин заботится об удобстве своих покупателей, поэтому в любое европейское отделение вы можете зайти с логином и паролем от вашего, например, американского аккаунта.

Ваши прежние данные будут действительны, а также будут также сохранены все ваши адреса. Но вот программа Amazon Prime для каждого филиала своя.

Покупать на немецком Amazon можно тремя способами:

  • Прямая покупка и доставка. Но за исключением России и то далеко не все товары, например, в Беларусь, Казахстан или Украину вы сможете получить только книги и cd-диски;
  • Самостоятельная покупка на виртуальный адрес, который мы вам предоставим (комиссия 1 € за 1 кг);
  • С помощью нашей фирмы-посредника в покупке ( от 50 евро без комиссии).

Поиск товара в Amazon.de

Интуитивно процесс поиска на Amazon очень прост и может быть осуществлен тремя способами:

  1. Поиск по категории товара. Если вы хотите посмотреть все предложения определенной категории, которые есть на сайте, то на главной странице Амазона в поле Alle Kategorien (Все категории) можно выбрать необходимый раздел. В каждой группе есть своя подгруппа. Переходим далее по списку до нужной нам группы;
  2. Поиск по наименованию товара. Если вы знаете конкретное название вещи или ее артикульный номер, то можно просто ввести его в строку поиска Suche на главной странице Амазона и нажимать Los (Искать). Язык вводимого запроса должен быть немецкий. Чаще всего магазин предложит выпадающий список с подсказками по разделам, где смотрим нужный нам товар, делаем выбор и переходим на страницу с результатами. Предложений тысячи и для того, чтобы сократить список, пользуемся панелью фильтров слева, там выбираем модель, цвет, размер, материал изготовления и таким образом отсекаем не интересные предложения;
  3. Поиск по названию торговой марки. Если вы желаете найти товар определенного бренда, то введите в строку поиска Suche название торговой марки, например, Naturino и слева отберите нужную категорию, например, Damen Schuhe или Kinder Schuhe. В панели фильтров слева также отмечаем нужные нам характеристики товара (например, размер или цвет). Amazon выдаст все товары, которые подходят под ваши критерии.

Как изменить язык

Достаточно просто зайти на Амазон де и выбрать английский язык — интерфейс сайта сразу изменится на привычный (как на Amazon.com), так что, нажимая различные кнопки, вам не придется полагаться на интуицию и словарь. Делать покупки на немецкой Амазон-площадке теперь будет ощутимо проще! Итак, как же это сделать?

Но будьте готовы, что небольшая часть описаний и названий товаров может быть по-прежнему на немецком. Помимо английского на сегодняшний день доступны нидерландский и даже польский языки.

Регистрация на Amazon.de

What happens if we do not register our charitable organization and provide a bank account for an electronic transfer?

If you have not registered and have donations allocated to your organization, we will attempt to contact you with instructions on how to register. If you do not register your charitable organization, including providing accurate bank account information for an electronic transfer, the AmazonSmile Foundation will still track and store donations earned in each calendar quarter. Once you’ve registered your charitable organization, your organization will be eligible to receive in the next donation cycle all donation amounts that were previously allocated to your organization and were not subject to reallocation under the Participation Agreement. Please note that donations that have been allocated to an unregistered charitable organization from customers that made their first supporting purchase more than eight full quarters ago and have not been distributed will be reallocated to other registered charitable organizations.

How much of the customers’ purchase price does Amazon donate?

The AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price from customers’ eligible AmazonSmile purchases to the charitable organizations they select. The purchase price for each item is the sale price, excluding shipping, handling, and gift-wrapping fees, taxes, and service charges, and less any rebates, returns, and bad debt. Certain items are not eligible for and will not result in donations.

What purchases are eligible for donations?

Tens of millions of products on AmazonSmile are eligible for donations. You will see eligible products marked “Eligible for AmazonSmile donation” on their product detail pages. In order to receive a donation disbursement, what is the minimum amount my organization needs to have accrued from customer purchases?

The minimum amount a charitable organization must accrue to receive a quarterly donation is $5.00. If the total donation amount due to your organization, based on the purchases by all customers who selected your charitable organization, is less than $5.00 as of the end of a given calendar quarter, the AmazonSmile Foundation will hold the donation amounts and add them to donation amounts allocated to your organization in subsequent calendar quarters. However, if you have an accrued donation that remains below $5.00 for four consecutive quarters, the AmazonSmile Foundation will disburse accrued donation amounts to you in the donation cycle following the fourth quarter, even if the donation amount is less than $5.00. Can I view the amount of donations my charitable organization has received?

We currently do not provide reports that enable viewing of donations received.

We may terminate your Amazon Prime membership with 14 days’ notice for convenience and will issue a prorated refund of your paid Prime membership fee based on the time remaining in your current membership period.
